Originally built in 1850 Phoenix wharf was a paint and varnish factory -
the very reason for its current name the Paintworks.
Redevelopment began on the derelict site in 2003 and today it is recognised as a thriving and important hub for creatives in bristol. The studio at the paintworks sits proudly with neighbours such as architects, record labels, design agencies and the BBC Studios most famous locally as the shooting space for 'Deal or No Deal'.
In this artistic development clients can benefit from allocated and visitor parking, free wi-fi and food and drink from the tube retro diner or the cosmopolitan boca bar.
